Good morning everyone and welcome to Sta-Lok Wednesday in Falmouth. Sadly the sun has deserted us today and its a little chillier so the Henri Lloyd Pop-Up shop has been doing a roaring trade selling extra clothing this morning.

At the briefing Race Officer Jack Penty advised that today’s plan is for two windward leeward races followed by an around the cans regatta course which will finish off the entrance to the Harbour.

The wind has gone round a little into the south east and is expected to moderate from its current mid teens down to circa or even sub ten knots later. Sadly it looks like the cloud cover is with us for the day and there’s even a possibility of some rain this afternoon, although hopefully this won’t arrive until after racing finishes.

Also at this morning’s briefing it was agreed with the competitors that the daily prize givings will be brought forward to 18.00 in the Regatta Marquee.
