The Race Committee has  just made a VHF announcement to competitors to advise them that the wind spotter boats out in the race area have seen the first signs of some wind and so the rest of the committee and mark laying boats will be leaving the dock at 11.00 to head for the race area.  They plan to make a further announcement to competitors at 11.30 and have asked them to be ready at their boats at that time in the hope that they can lower the AP and call them afloat.
