Arguably the most prestigious trophy presented at the Half Ton Classics Cup is actually the Half Ton True Spirit Trophy, which is awarded to the boat/team who best encapsulate the true spirit of the Half Ton Class.

This year’s hugely popular winners were chosen by the ladies of the KYCN shore support team and in honour of the winning boat’s name (a play on the name of the great American gangster Alf Capone) they brought water pistols and handcuffs to round up their man.  Huge congratulations to Jean-Luc Courbon and his crew aboard Half Capone on winning this prestigious trophy.
