The 38 teams are all now registered and raring to go for tomorrow’s opening day of racing at the 2011 Half Ton Classic Cup supported by South Boats in Cowes.  This evening Royal Corinthian Yacht Club representatives Richard Hollis and Mike Till and Race Officer Rob Lamb got things underway with a briefing to competitors followed by a welcome reception at which Half Ton Class Europe battle flags were presented to each of the boats.  We’ll have a video of the briefing for you shortly but in the meantime here are some happy snaps from the welcome reception.
