On the water Per Elisa takes race 3 from Rampage with Red Cloud third, Superhero fourth and Checkmate in fifth.

Per Elisa stormed up the second beat and now narrowly leads Red Cloud and Rampage with Waverider fourth and Superhero up into fifth on the water.Race

Left paid and Rampage led Waverider, Fantasy and Red Cloud round mark 1 of race 3.

The breeze is back up a bit and we’re in sequence for race 3.

Our hopes of rolling straight into race 3 have been dashed as the emerging sun has killed the breeze for the moment. We can confirm that General Tapioca crossed the line second with Red Cloud third followed by Superhero and Waverider in race two. No official timings yet but Per Elisa hopeful of victory.

Per Elisa first home in race 2. The sun is coming out and we are expecting to go straight into race 3.

As you can just about see from our rather grey and murky photo we have no wind in the race area so the AP is flying and the waiting game is on. 😦

After Race 1 we caught up with Jeremy from Red Cloud and Winnie from Waverider to find out about their very successful performances and to talk about the rebuilding of Waverider after she sustained severe damage when a crane fell on her.
